Paella and a little bit of Spain!

This past weekend we decided to have a Spanish themed dinner night and made Paella and kid's Sangria! We had never made it before so that was a fun experience! It took a bit of time but was well worth it because it was delicious!

We used this Paella recipe and loved it although we would use less red pepper next time!

We cut up fruit to put in fruit punch for the kiddos.

Fi enjoyed watching the saffron turn the water yellow.

We also made a basket inspired by Spanish basket weaving!

It turned out great and Fi couldn't wait to display it in her room!

We capped off the fun by letting Fi read a book to her buddy, Jackson, about a Spanish chicken called Media Pollito.

Another fun day of learning while living!
